Introduction

Bonkies is a fun, unique, and interactive computer game developed by Studio Gauntlet and Crunching Koalas that focuses on cooperating with your fellow players and teams in the fight to build the best buildings, and as the game’s slogan says, you and your team must: cheer, cooperate, and construct.

The game features fun characters, creative buildings, and vibrant colors that are visually appealing and polished, and with the upcoming launch of the game on popular platforms such as Steam as well as consoles like Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation, PRFPS has launched an online campaign in collaboration with selected influencers to promote and announce the game’s release in January 2021.

Bonkies is a fun, creative and interactive game from two Nordic game developers, Crunching Koalas and Studio Gauntlet, who together have created a colorful and almost magical game universe based on building and playing together with your team members, where you and your friends must create the most beautiful buildings.

“Cheer, cooperate and construct” is the game’s slogan, which is exactly what you need to do and is the core of the game and its story. As ape-like characters in space, you can explore and visit planets like Earth, Mars and Pluto, where you and your friends must build buildings that not only stand but also have good structure and a solid foundation.

With up to 4 players per section, this game is the ultimate team game as cooperation is the primary factor, but it can of course also be played as singleplayer. Build and use materials around you and ensure that your team of apes in astronaut suits has the best building.

The game is a fun, creative and playful game, which can include competition and strategy but can also be enjoyed alone in relaxing environments. The game will be released on Steam and similar sales platforms, as well as sold for selected PlayStation and Xbox consoles and Nintendo Switch in early 2021.

We have launched online campaigns in collaboration with local content creators in Denmark to promote and create hype around the game in the form of Twitch livestreams, YouTube videos and posts on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Selected viewers could win a copy of the game when it is released.
